New Weekday Bible Study via YouTube starting this Tuesday at 11:30AM
A blessed Easter Monday to all the members of Grace!
I have noticed that some churches in the Missouri Synod are having Bible studies live over YouTube. This should work well for us as a way for me to lead a Bible study and to provide a central hub for members of Grace to be able to communicate with each other. Jumping through the YouTube hoops (which are new to me) to live-stream, I’ve activated the live-stream option on Grace’s YouTube account but YouTube is telling me that I have to wait 24 hours before I can live-stream the first time. So this means our first Bible study will hopefully be Easter Tuesday at 11:30AM. Check back to the Grace website on Tuesday morning and hopefully I will have instructions on and a link posted for you to join the Bible study shortly before 11:30AM.
The way I understand this works is the facilitator leads the content live and individuals can type in questions or comments by text. It will be a way for me to deliver a Bible study (we’ll do the book of Romans) and for you all to not only ask questions about the Bible study but also be able to type to each other live and communicate together live. The community aspect of this will be as much of a blessing as the Bible study. Lord willing, it all works out!
I plan to hold the Bible study from 11:30-noon, Monday-Friday. Join us if you can, the days that you can. There is no need to attend every session. If you miss one, don’t let that stop you from rejoining the group the next chance you get.
Christ is Risen! He is risen indeed! Allelulia!
