Young Adult Bible Study at Grace Wednesday nights at 7PM
Young adults from Grace and Kitchener circuit congregations:
This Wednesday, September 14, at 7PM we will have our first Young Adult Bible study at Grace. We will meet weekly on Wednesday nights. This group is meant for those 18 to their mid-20s, and is time to have fellowship together, eat together (feel free to bring some snacks!) and study God’s Word together. Last year we had a good mix of singles and married couples and we invite all singles and young married couples to join us.
Our topics for Bible study will be up to you and the goal is for them to be practical for you in life now or in the near future. Some potential starting topics could be the challenges and trials of being a Christian at college/university and in the workplace, genetic science in Christian perspective, bioethics from a Christian perspective (e.g. contraceptives, MAID-medically assisted death), Christian meditation, Christian Spirituality, how to have family devotions, etc. This is a suggestion of the kind of topics we could cover: the topics we cover will be on your request.
After our Bible study time there will be time for food and fellowship and maybe some board games too.
The plan is to meet every Wednesday night at 7PM from September 14 to November 23rd in the fall. The next four Wednesday nights in November/December you are invited to join us at the same time at Grace for our mid-week Advent worship services. We’ll then take December 28 off for Christmas and then restart in the winter on Wednesday, January 4, 2023.
Grace is located at 136 Margaret Avenue, Kitchener. We can be reached directly by the Grand River Transit bus #4, and are a block away from Wellington St. and Margaret Ave. which is a stop for buses #6 and #34. Our parking lot is off of Louisa Street. Please enter by the parking lot door.
Any questions, please contact Pastor Korsch at Grace at 519-742-7431. Your Christian friends from other denominations and your non-Christian friends are welcome to join us!
